The packing was easy, but saying goodbye to the apartment wasn’t.
We had a four hour or so journey ahead of us.
It was quite a smooth car-ride, no major hick-ups - just the odd slow point.
We arrived and parked the car under the hotel directly opposite the lift, and took just our essentials and an overnight grab-bag
The apartment was small, but cosy and the building was triangle shaped.
We went out to find a beer, and ended up at Paddy’s Pit, where Matt had a couple of Murphys and I had fruit cider. After celebrating and unwinding from our epic trip, cooking pasta wasnt really something i wanted to do, so McDs it was.
We were both old-cold before 9pm, and slept for a good 12 hours.
