I have a goal to visit fifty different countries by the time I'm fifty. As I write this (Matt, not Jane) I'm 47. I’m currently on forty-six.
In 2020 it’ll be three different countries (hopefully). Two sets of two weeks, and a single week. We think it’ll be Montenegro, Ethiopia and Namibia.
I think we had some vague idea that the 50th country would be Australia and Max is going there from a year in September 2020 (Covid-19, aside). The global lockdown means, I guess, we may do a single new country this year (if at all) so it’s conceivable that Australia may just be country number 47. I was reading that the least visited country in the World is Nauru. Kind of be cool to have that be number fifty, right?
