The question for the day is can you fly to New Zealand direct. I'm not sure you can. Even a "direct flight" lands - throws you throw the hell of security - then back on again. That's not direct.
With these road trips, I've often thought these blogs would benefit from some high-speed footage of the driving so I'm going to see if there's a cheap way to record the journey.
Unless my calculations are wrong then a two-hour journey at one frame a second and played back at YouTube's 24 FPS would give a five-minute video.
